FocusReceipt ("the App") is a local-first focus tracking application developed by Mert Gaygusuz

("we", "us"). This Privacy Policy explains what data the App handles and how.

Summary

FocusReceipt does not collect, transmit, or store any personal data on our servers. All your

activity logs, categories, and settings remain on your device.

Data Stored Locally

The App stores the following data locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework:

• Activity entries you create (title, category, duration, energy level, optional notes)

• Custom categories you define

• App settings and preferences (theme, accent color, notification preferences)

• Streak and badge progress

This data never leaves your device unless you explicitly enable iCloud Sync (see below).

Optional iCloud Sync

If you enable iCloud Sync in Settings (Pro feature), your activity data is synchronized across your

Apple devices via your private iCloud account using Apple's CloudKit. We never see or have access to

this data — it is encrypted and managed entirely by Apple under Apple's

You can disable iCloud Sync at any time. Disabling it stops further syncing; existing data on each

device remains intact.
